The first season of Marvel's Agent Carter concluded its official run on ABC. Now that episodes, 1-8, have aired, this is the perfect opportunity to look back and check out how Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell) handled herself as she risked her life against the Leviathan to clear Howard Stark (Dominic Cooper)'s name.

As we previously mentioned, the first season followed Peggy (Atwell) as she came back from the war and worked as a secretary for the male-dominated Strategic Scientific Reserve. With Stark (Cooper) being framed for selling weapons on the black market, Peggy teamed up with his butler, Edwin Jarvis (James D'Arcy) to uncover what the super villain organization, the Leviathan, was planning. The danger came close to home as the SSR discovered there was a mole among them.

Check out our 5 thoughts on the eight episode run of Agent Carter here:

5) Howard Stark's Promiscuity

Even though Dominic Cooper was only in two episodes, and one scene in the pilot, the Devil's Double actor sure knows how to steal the show. I laughed out loud as Stark lost count and named random female names as he tried to figure out how many he slept with. Then the joking turns serious as Stark, while being tortured, reveals he doesn't want to be the bad guy.

4) Best Sidekick In The World

What's interesting about Edwin Jarvis (D'Arcy) is that he knows he's the sidekick and doesn't want the lead. A nice spin on the butler/right-hand man role, Jarvis doesn't want to spend the entire night on stakeout because he has a wife at home to please and take care of. I also liked how Jarvis handled himself against a young "mafioso" named Wilson Fisk, The Kingpin, in A Sin to Err.

3) You're Either Peggy's Ally Or An Enemy

It took awhile before Peggy could break her wall down and form a friendship with Angie Martinelli (Lyndsy Fonseca). Peggy met a worthy adversary in Dottie Underwood (Bridget Regan), who was just as good at being a spy as she was. Carter was lucky there was a window nearby to throw Dottie out of. I really liked Angie and Peggy moving in together to their new apartment in Valediction.

2) Roger Dooley's Death

The death of SSR Chief Roger Dooley (Shea Whigham) in Snafu was the most dramatic and suspenseful. With a bomb strapped to his chest, Dooley had very little time to say any goodbyes. Always thinking like a boss, Dooley gave out one last order to Peggy before he jumped out the window and exploded.

1) The Howling Commandos

It's funny how everything ties in together with the appearance of Dr. Arnim Zola (Toby Jones), but when The Howling Commandos show up, led by Dum-Dum Dugan (Neal McDonough), it's a great episode all together. The Iron Ceiling is my favorite episode and the most-action-packed in my opinion, as Jack Thompson (Chad Michael Murray) watched all the men take orders from Peggy.

The question still remains if Marvel's Agent Carter will get a second season on ABC.
