Ahead of its April release date, Netflix has released the official trailer for their upcoming superhero series, Marvel's Daredevil. Will Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) and Wilson Fisk (Vincent D'Onofrio) discover who is the real "Devil" when The Kingpin takes over Hell's Kitchen?

As we previously mentioned, Matt Murdock (Cox) was a young boy when he was struck blind after a near fatal car accident. Though everyone thinks he lives in complete darkness, radioactive chemicals have given him back his sight. By day, Murdock pretends to be a blind lawyer attending courtroom battles. But when darkness falls, Daredevil serves out his own brand of justice protecting Hell's Kitchen against crime.

The official Facebook page had released a short video of the Law & Order: Criminal Intent actor expressing gratitude towards the fans and promising a "special treat."

And the second caption from the trailer states, "In one month, we let the devil out. #Daredevil"

In the opening narration, as transcribed by Deadline, Fisk explains himself, "When I was a kid, I used to dream what it would be like to live somewhere far away from Hell's Kitchen, but I realized the city was a part of me, it was in my blood and I would do anything to make it a better place."

If you notice in the footage, another character  describes the iron suit and magic hammer, hinting that this all takes place within the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

We mentioned before, D'Onofrio describes his character, "I just brought in this kind of character who in one sentence could easily go from being a child to a monster, depending on where his emotions take him."
