Before The Flash returns from hiatus, the CW network has released an all-new trailer and poster. Is Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) ready to take on Golden Glider (Peyton List) and Trickster (Mark Hamill), and the rest of DC Comics baddies in 'Villains Look Ahead?'

In our recent recap, Martin Stein (Victor Garber) explained his theory of time-travel to Barry Allen. There is a hole in the time continuum, but Barry believes he is destined to fail his mother on the night of her murder by the Reverse-Flash. After rescuing Firestorm (Robbie Amell) from General Wade Eiling (Clancy Brown), Barry realized he has a chance to change things if he's meant to go back in time.

Released on the official Facebook page, a new image (shown above) has been released, with the caption stating, "Your favorite Scarlet Speedster returns with new episodes Tuesday, March 17! #TheFlash" Notice in the background, the color scheme changes from darkness to light? Does this mean the tone of the show will change as well?

According to IGN, the footage gives glimpses of Liam McIntyre as Weather Wizard (scheduled for March 17) and List as Lisa Snart, Captain Cold's sister. Dominic Purcell is back as Heat Wave, along with his Prison Break co-star Wentworth Miller (Saturn Award Nominee) on March 24. And on March 31, the Star Wars actor reprises his role from the original '90 The Flash series on CBS.

As we previously mentioned, Martin, Valdes ,and Rick Cosnett are working together on the Kickstarter project, The Letter Carrier. The 10 minute short film follows a mother who hides her family from slavery in the Blue Ridge Mountains. The children have grown up with a tale of a man known as "The Letter Carrier." While roaming the mountains, the Letter Carrier looks for children to sell as slaves. The short will be told through a cappella song, using original folk music, and a score using only natural sounds.

The Flash returns from hiatus on the CW March 17, Tuesday at 8pm. The first season will conclude on May 19.

Readers, do you think of the new poster and trailer?
