USA's 'DIG' Recap: Episode 3: 'Meet The Rosenbergs': Will Jason Isaacs, Ori Pfeffer Solve Number 19?

The highly anticipated DIG begins on USA Network. In Episode 3, Will FBI agent Peter Connelly (Jason Isaacs) and detective Golan Cohen (Ori Pfeffer) discover the truth behind the international mystery about what really happened to Emma Wilson (Alison Sudol) in 'Meet the Rosenbergs?'

Peter barges into the ball, interrupting Ambassador Ruth Ridell (Regina Taylor)'s speech. Lynn Monahan (Anne Heche) realizes he is planning to break into the consulate. Unfortunately, he is proven wrong and his target isn't there. After going through Emma's journal, which refers to the number 19. Peter then spends the night with Lynn, fantasizing about Emma.

Avram (Guy Selnik) is feeling seasick on the boat, realizing he is in way over his head. At the compound, Debbie (Lauren Amrose) is told by Ted Billingham (David Costabile) to take Josh into town, along with Fay (Angela Bettis). A knock at the door, Peter signs for a package meant for Emma. The papers in Peter's hands state Emma was "onto something."

On their road trip, Josh is having a fun time in the car. Before they head into town, Fay reveals to Debbie that she had to clean up after her mistake. After shaving and getting cleaned up, Yussef Khalid (Omar Metwally) finds himself in a room full of antique collections. Yussef finds a particular stone that gets his attention. 

During the investigation, Peter and Golan meets a man who says Emma was scared about what she found. Emma was running DNA tests on a substance and discovered it came from a cow. Back on the boat, Avram is hungry and the sailors want to eat his cow. 

At the diner, Debbie gets spooked by a police officer and heads towards the bathroom. Debbie climbs out through the window, gets to a phone, and makes a call to Charlie. Charlie is upset with Debbie because she's been gone for three years and hangs up on her. 

In the bathroom, Debbie gets into a fight with Fay. She throws Fay onto the sink and knocks her out. Peter and Golan realize Emma found something important and didn't want her bosses to know about it. After spotting another clue, Peter realizes the building refers to the number 19. They read a book, with the chapter pointing to chapter 19.

Pretending to be the Rosenbergs, Peter and Golan are given a presentation about the ark of the covenant. Peter sneaks his way into the basement and finds a locked room being guarded. Peter gets suspicious when he shows a picture of Emma around.

On the boat, Avram takes a gun out but he is beaten up by one of the sailors. Peter finds his place trashed but Emma's journal is still safe. They meet with an undercover cop who warns them to stay away from his extreme group. 

While Debbie signs a police statement, Yussef has a fling with a guard, strangles him to death, and steals his key card. Avram is given food finally for being brave and hands it to the animal. Peter wakes up, calls his ex-wife, and remembers something about his daughter.  

Peter sneaks out of Lynn's bed as Yussef breaks into the building and grabs the stone. Ted arrives at the precinct to pick up Josh, who knew Debbie would fail. Because Ruth is part of the conspiracy to get the stone, she has to take care of Peter.
