The everlasting zombie movie trend has yet to get a taste of Arnold Schwarzenegger, so you're probably excited to see his first movie in the genre, Maggie. As you'll find out in the new trailer below, this 2015 film isn't exactly the action, thriller you'd expect from the actor in a movie about the undead. Instead of the majority of the film showing the Terminator star taking out the undead, it's really about a father dealing with his daughter (Abigail Breslin) getting infected during a horrible outbreak. While you might expect and probably want to see Arnold taking part in another action movie, especially with zombies, director Henry Hobson gives us a specialized family drama that takes elements of The Walking Dead and puts it on the big screen.

Speaking of the AMC hit, you might be drawing parallels with the character The Governor and his obsession with his zombie daughter, but this is the stage before she's a zombie. We get to see how a father has to deal with this horrible truth in this kind of situation. Do you think he has to put her out of her misery, or will she turn?

Hitting theaters on May 8, here is the official synopsis of Maggie (via Slash Film):

There's a deadly zombie epidemic threatening humanity, but Wade (Arnold Schwarzenegger), a small-town farmer and family man, refuses to accept defeat even when his daughter Maggie (Abigail Breslin) becomes infected. As Maggie's condition worsens and the authorities seek to eradicate those with the virus, Wade is pushed to the limits in an effort to protect her. Joely Richardson co-stars in this post-apocalyptic thriller.
