When we learned that the next X-Men movie, Apocalypse and the recently announced Gambit standalone film project starring Channing Tatum both received release dates in 2016, we knew that next year would be a great year for fans of comic book adaptations. This also had us thinking Tatum wouldn't appear in the new X-Men movie, since the premieres are only a few months apart. This week, however, is suggesting the Magic Mike XXL actor could make an appearance in the new Bryan Singer film (which is Jennifer Lawrence's final movie in the series)! If this rumor is true, Tatum will join Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy, Nicholas Hoult, Jennifer Lawrence, Evan Peters, Oscar Isaac and a bunch of newcomers to the series like Sophie Turner of Game of Thrones, who will portray the young Jean Grey. The busy actor will simply film a cameo considering her has to film Gambit and a number of other projects. X-Men: Apocalypse is set to film next month in Montreal, according to Gamma Squad.

This new rumor also claims Hugh Jackman and Halle Berry will film cameos with Tatum, as their characters Wolverine and Storm. With this in mind, will we see more time traveling like we did in 2014's X-Men: Days of Future Past? Does this also mean Wolverine could show up in Gambit? There are obviously a ton of questions that will pop up, so for now we should just wait to hear confirmations!
