Though the trailer to the Back to the Future remake is indeed a hoax, would audiences want to see this modern CGI adaptation. For April Fool's Day, let's just imagine Vin Diesel (Furious 7) has replaced Michael J. Fox as the time-traveler Marty McFly speeding his way through the past, present, and future.

In Back to the Future, teenager Marty McFly (Fox) finds himself in the '50s, thanks to scientist Doc Brown (Christopher Lloyd)'s time machine. Marty meets younger versions of his parents (Crispin Glover, Lea Thompson), who turn out to be nerds. After disrupting events of the timeline, Marty has to make sure that they fall in love ,or he will never exist.

Released on the IGN YouTube Channel, the caption states, "Great Scott! Fire up your DeLorean because this time 88mph may not be fast enough."

The footage starts off with the trail of tracks swirling in flames. This usually occurs when the DeLorean finally hits 88 mph and jumps into the time-stream. The gruff-sounding narrator states, "You made mistakes. You let your family down. But what if you could go back...and change things..."

Suddenly, in the crowded streets of Tokyo, the time machine pops out of nowhere. Returning from its time jump, the DeLorean can be seen swerving, drifting as the vehicle makes the turn without hitting anybody.

Behind the wheel, Diesel states, "Just like old times..."

And the title, Fast To The Future, shows up after composer Alan Silvestri's main theme is about to close.

As we previously mentioned, Furious 7 is the latest installment in the franchise and also features the posthumous work of the late Paul Walker. For the death of his brother, Ian Shaw (Jason Statham) seeks revenge against Dom (Diesel) and his crew. Knowing Ian is responsible for Han's death, Dom and the rest of the gang have to stop him before they lose another member.
