'Justified' Season 6: Ep 12 'Collateral' Recap: Will Timothy Olyphant Find Constable Bob Dead?

Based on the crime novels by the late author Elmore Leonard, there is only 1 episode left before the Season 6 finale of Justified. In episode 12, 'Collateral,' will Raylan Givens (Timothy Olyphant) get his hands on Ava Crowder (Joelle Carter) before Boyd Crowder (Walton Goggins)?

Hagan (Shea Whigham) is pulled over by Boyd and held at gunpoint. Art (Nick Searcy) finds their convict and Tim (Jacob Pitts) shows him Raylan's gun and bridge. On his own to the mountaintop, Raylan finds himself in a standoff with a group of hunters. 

Zachariah (Jeff Fahey) is digging a grave for Groves while arguing with Ava. She is afraid of Boyd coming after her. Raylan trips his old enemy and signs over Arlo's house to him, in case he won't make it down the mountain. His only mission in mind is to get back to Florida. 

At the morgue, Avery Markham (Sam Elliott) says his goodbye to Katherine Hale. He will always love her but first, he has to get his money back. Wynn Duffy (Jere Burns) meets with Vasquez, who has frozen his assets. Wynn doesn't plan on returning to Kentucky after Raylan, Avery, and Boyd converge. 

Over the radio, Ava hears Boyd is a dangerous and armed fugitive. Breaking down, Ava is sure she's going to die. When Boyd shows up, Zachariah plans on killing him. Boyd jokes around with Hagan before forcing him to drive around in his car.

Loretta (Kaitlyn Dever) gets a surprise visit from Boon (Jonathan Tucker). In a quick draw, Boon shoots first and fires at Loretta's boyfriend. Vasquez and Tim are arguing over the bulletin about Raylan. While Vasquez plans to get Raylan indicted, Constable Bob Sweeney (Patton Oswalt) discovers his car has been stolen. 

Raylan finds Zachariah but doesn't see Ava anywhere. While Ava is on the run, Wynn wants a new life by the next day. Raylan and Zachariah argue about how he used Ava and forced her to steal the money. Bob finds her first and takes Ava to his police car.  

Unfortunately, Boyd shows up with Hagan. Telling Hagan he's an outlaw, Boyd shoots him in the head. After hearing gunshot, Ava breaks free and starts running again. During the night, Boyd and Raylan find themselves in an intense shootout. 

Boyd want the money and Raylan wants to win. They don't know what's in their heart. They both hear Bob crying for help. Rylan then goes out to save Bob while Ava is chased by a police car. The arresting officers take Ava to see Avery. 

Avery then kills Loretta's boyfriend in front of her. He offers Loretta 30 seconds to explain why he should let her live. After Loretta offers her a partnership, Avery accepts. Raylan then finds  Bob bleeding from his wounds.   

Raylan drives Bob to the hospital but he keeps fading in and out. Boyd arrives at the safe house and shoots down Zachariah. Not willing to give up Ava, Zachariah blows himself up. 

With Bob whisked into the hospital, Raylan is held under arrest.
