'The Americans' Season 3: Ep 12 'I Am Abassin Zadran' Recap: Are Keri Russell, Matthew Rhys Afraid Of Martha?

Season 3 of The Americans continues on FX with 2 episodes left. In Episode 12, now that Paige (Holly Taylor) knows their secret, are undercover spies Philip Jennings (Matthew Rhys) and Elizabeth (Keri Russell) Jennings ready for Claudia (Margo Martindale)'s return in 'I Am Abassin Zadran?' 

Dressed in new outfits, Elizabeth and Philip sneak into the hotel building. Elizabeth checks on the phone connections with Philip and marks the line. The parents return and find a note left by Paige, who has slept over at the pastor's place. Henry is oblivious to what's going on as he stares at the TV.

The two are both unhappy waiting for the Pastor to arrive. Paige will have to return home because of the misunderstanding. No one talks on the home. Soon the three are arguing, Paige didn't say anything but everything is not normal. Philip though has to leave the family crisis to see Martha. 

Martha is making tea for Stan Beeman (Noah Emmerich), a guest other home. She seems distracted to him. Stan knows it's the secretaries that makes the place run. Martha though thinks he is trying to ht on her. He will help her though if she needs any. 

After Hans waved him off, Philip and Elizabeth are unsure what to do with Martha. While walking across the street, Martha is stopped by a driver. She seps in his car and is driven away. Elizabeth tells her friend, Lisa, what to do to get the government's secrets.

At a secret location, Martha meets with Clark (Philip) and tells him about Stan. They might have to go someplace new. Clark promises to figure this out and get her away from the office. Because of hi relationship with Nina, Stan meets with his partner, who suspects him of planting the bug. 

During the trade, Elizabeth slowly gets Lisa's purse. Paige interrupts her parent's talk, wanting to know who are the people in the pictures. Elizabeth tries to put her hand over Paige's mouth but her daughter yells, "Don't touch me!"

Martha makes a call to her mother and busts into tears. Philip visits Paige, telling her it's not a lie. He shows her real pictures of her birth, which calms her down, Philip wants Elizabeth to take Paige to see her dying grandmother. Elizabeth and Philip meet with their contact, warning him about sabotage. They have a way to make the meeting work out if he goes at it alone.  

At a diner, Claudia and Gabriel (Frank Langella) discuss what to do with Paige. Claudia is dealing with what happened before but the Center still wants to turn Paige. Philip and Elizabeth's contact has slaughtered the saboteurs. 

Elizabeth meets with Paige, plays music, and invites her daughter to visit Russia. It is Paige's choice if she wants to go. Philip finds Martha with her bags packed. Wanting a break, Martha wants to visit her parents because she is ready to crack. 

Philip removes his glasses, takes off his hair piece, and shows Martha what he truly looks like.
