It's 4/20, everyone, and what that means is that there are many people across the country (and perhaps even the world?) who are sparking up some joints throughout the entire day. And while most of us are doing so illegally, there are some places in the United States where it's perfectly legal. For example, Denver, Colorado. And to prove that, the Denver Police Department recently tweeted out a supportive pro-weed message to the denizens of their lovely city, specifically to enjoy, but of course, consume responsibly.

The lighthearted tweet came last night, letting the citizens of Denver know that the police see them "rollin'" and they "ain't hatin'" on the fact that they'll be enjoying themselves on this day. But still, they better do it in a responsible manner.

Check out the police department's tweet below:

Now, while the drug is legal in the state, it's being reported by The Huffington Post that the act of smoking in public is illegal. But of course, that probably still happens.

Readers, how are you celebrating 4/20? Let us know below.

In related news, Real Time host, and frequent pot user, Bill Maher started off a petition this past weekend to make 4/20 a national holiday. For more informtion on that, check out MStars News' report
