From the comedic mind of Mike Judge (Beavis and Butt-head), Season 2 of Silicon Valley continues on HBO. In Episode 3, will Erlich Bachman (T.J. Miller), Richard Hendriks (Thomas Middleditch), and the rest of the tech gang get back at Hooli with their 'Bad Money?'

After seeing Gavin Belson (Matt Ross), Richard tries to convince Elrich, Gilfoyle (Martin Starr), and Dinesh (Kumail Nanjiani) that he should sign with Hooli. Even the most loyal of the group, Jared (Zach Woods), thinks Richard shouldn't sign the deal with Hooli. Monica (Amanda Crew) actually wants Richard to sign with Hooli, which upsets the guys even further.

Jared, who used to work with Hooli, compares working for them like Julia Roberts' spousal abuse in Sleeping with the Enemy. But with Pied Piper, Jared feels like Julia Roberts being whisked away by Richard Gere in Pretty Woman. The guys separate, leaving Richard alone to his dismay, knowing his company will go bankrupt.

Just as Richard is about to enter Hooli's offices, millionaire Russ Hanneman (Chris Diamantopoulos) arrives in his luxury car to save the day. Meanwhile, Gavin makes an idiot of himself at a press conference comparing billionaires to Holocaust survivors. At a Japanese restaurant, Russ wants to offer Richard money and help him screw over Hooli. Russ reminds Richard it's not what he should do; it's what he wants.

Monica isn't too happy with Richard that he signed with Russ because he's vulgar and crazy. Even Dinesh looks up Russ on Google and the internet thinks he's a douchebag. Monica tries to persuade Richard to sign with Hooli because at least, they're a real company, but he shoots her down.

Monica then has an awkward conversation with her boss, who isn't too happy being co-investor with Russ. While dealing with the press calling him a racist, Gavin is furious that Pied Piper has signed with Hangman, the man who put radio on the internet. Even with the money Hangman is offering though, Jared discovers Pied Piper will only make it through the first 18 months because of the impending lawsuit.

Russ meets with Pied Piper and cracks jokes with them. He thinks Gilfoyle is a crazy f**ker, which annoys the hell out of him. Jared is the guy who f**ks in the group. Erlich tries to get Russ' attention but nothing happens, even though they're exactly alike.

After a bad meeting, Richard starts to realize Russ is hands-on with the business, even though he said he wouldn't not. Russ is putting Pied Pier's name on billboards and puts one billboard in front of Hooli's window.

Furious at the sight of the billboard, Gavin declares it an act of war. With the help of his lawyers, Gavin retaliates by going after Big Head (Josh Brener).
