'Lucha Underground': El Rey Presents King Cuerno, Prince Puma, Shawn Hernandez In New Match! [WATCH]

From Emmy award-winning Mark Burnett (Survivor), Lucha Underground presents an all-new episode on El Rey Network. One of these Lucadors will be exiled but who will it be as wrestlers King Cuerno, Prince Puma, and Shawn Hernandez are set to step into the ring.

Ever since launching his own network, Sin City: A Dame To Kill For filmmaker Robert Rodriguez has entertained audiences with his From Dusk Till Dawn TV series. As we previously mentioned, El Rey rides into lucha libre, the no-holds barred world of freestyle wrestling and high-flying aerial maneuvers. In Mexico's most popular sport, the masked villains and heroes confront against each other in thrilling one-on-one matches.

According to the release, losing in tonight's match may actually mean never returning to the wrestling ring for one fighter. Cueto promises to banish the one-and-only Drago from his Temple forever. It will all go wrong for Drago if he fails to beat the defending champion, Puma, in the Champion vs Career match. The intensity doesn't stop there as King Cuerno, Cage and Hernandez go head-to-head for the new #1 contender title.

According to Wrestle Zone, Rey Mysterio is reportedly expected to be Lucha Underground's top star for their as-of-yet unannounced second season. During last weekend's television taping event, a promotional piece was filmed for the series' three part season finale. Though Rey Mysterio did not appear before cameras, we can only speculate that this is a vignette for a possible cliffhanger ending.

Though we await for confirmation, Wrestle Zone states a second season is definitely happening; which is good news for us. If there is a second season, the wrestling program is scheduled to run 39 episodes of television every week, followed by a short off-season.
