It's been a long week for WNBA stars Brittney Griner and Glory Johnson. MStars News has learned that both women were arrested following a heated dispute with each other. Just a few months ago, we reported that the couple were featured on an episode of Say Yes to the Dress, now it appears that their wedding was almost cancelled after they were involved in a huge argument that ended up with both of them in handcuffs for domestic violence.

According to TMZ, the couple had been fighting for days leading up to their May 8 wedding. The site claims that the women and basketball stars have been having "serious relationship issues."

A number of people were at the Phoenix home where Brit and Glory were fighting. Brit, a Phoenix Mercury baller admitted that she threw a dog bowl at the wall as things turned violent and physical.

In the audio clip below, you can hear Glory's sister, Judy Johnson talking to 911 in a panic as Brittney and Glory fight.

According to Madame Noire, both women suffered "minor physical injuries" when cops arrived on the scene.

Here's a video of the two pups that were apparently at home when their parents were arguing in the 911 call:

The soon-to-be married 24-year-old pair was both booked by the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office for assault and disorderly conduct, and later released. After their heated argument, Johnson revealed that she was still going to walk down the aisle to marry Griner on May 8 at Tapatio Cliffs, Phoeniz, AZ.

She wrote an apologetic letter to fans to confirm that they both were doing just fine as they work on their issues, and prepare for their big day.

"WE'RE OK! @brittneygriner and I are home, injury-free, and still wedding planning! We know we must set better examples, even during the most trying times, and we are EXTREMELY sorry for all the negative attention we brought to ourselves, our family, and the league," she wrote on Instagram. "We are actively seeking help in order to do BETTER. Thanks for all the Love, Support, and Prayers that were sent our way. #LoveLife #StillBlessed #WorkInProgress #NobodysPerfect."
