The final episodes of Season 7 from the critically acclaimed Mad Men continue on AMC. In episode 12, are Don Draper (Jon Hamm), Roger Sterling (John Slattery), and Joan Holloway (Christina Hendricks) ready to star with their new business in 'Lost Horizon?'

Don is heading to the elevator of his new office building. Time has moved to September, since he has to take Sally to school. After insulting Harry (Rich Sommer), Roger says goodbye to one of his secretaries as Joan meets the other female copywriters. Peggy doesn't have an office yet at the new place.

Meeting with his  new boss, Don is expected to kick the business a notch and say he's from McCann Erickson. Joan is going to lose her Avon account because of her co-worker. After a yelling match, her co-worker thought he was going to have "fun with her." Unfortunately, everybody at McCann Erickson thinks Peggy is a secretary.

In the elevator, Joan tells Don she's "sick" at her new office; still trying to figure things out. Don finally picks a new place to live as Joan tries to get Pete (Vincent Kartheiser) to work with her on the Avon account. Peggy says goodbye to her last copywriter before the lights turn off at the old building.

At the Miller Beer meeting, Don listens to a pitch, notices the pens and pads, but cannot concentrate. Ted (Kevin Rahm) notices how he walks out of a meeting. Joan is expected "a good time" from her sleazy superior so that he can keep her accounts.

While reading Freud, Betty (January Jones) isn't happy Don is late to pickup Sally. Don massages Betty's back while they talk about her going back to school. He tells her, "Knock 'em dead Birdy." Don drives out to the road as Joan gets into an argument with Richard (Bruce Greenwood). Joan realizes she asked the wrong person for help, but Richard thinks he can help. She has two options, call a lawyer or call a guy.

While driving, Don hallucinates about Bert Cooper (Robert Morse) sitting next to him. Bert quotes "On The Road," before he disappears. Peggy gets a call saying that her new office is ready but the furniture won't be there. While passing Layne's office, Peggy bumps into Roger, who was playing organ music.

Meredith covers up for Don, who hasn't gone back to work. It's morning when Don finally stops driving. Roger hands Peggy one of Bert's old paintings, an octopus pleasuring a woman. As they drink, Roger tells her one of his old war stories, reminding himself he needed a push.

Don has no luck finding Diana at her old place. Meeting her boss, Joan threatens to hire a lawyer and sue him. Since they're both unhappy with each other, Joan walks out ready to file a lawsuit. Don meets with Diana's ex husband  but he doesn't want to know anything about her. Her ex tells Don only Jesus can save her.

Peggy roller-skates around the room while Roger plays the organ. Peggy is smoking as she enters the new place. Roger can't help Jon but he can make sure she gets her money. Joan walks out with a picture of her son.

Don picks up a hitchhiker and continues driving farther away from New York.
