J.K. Rowling "Sorry" for Killing Fred Weasley in 'Harry Potter'

Looks like author J.K. Rowling has a few words to say to her Harry Potter fans. MStars News has learned that she is apologizing for killing off the character, Fred Weasley in the Harry Potter books and movies. Weasley was killed off in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.

According to US Magazine, Rowling, 49, apologized via Twitter over the weekend during a chat with fans about Ron Weasley's brother. May 2 is when Rowling decided to tweet about touchy subject, which is the anniversary of the Battle of Hogwarts.

"Today I would just like to say: I'm really sorry about Fred," she tweeted, apologizing for the tragic loss. "*Bows head in acceptance of your reasonable ire.*"

She added, "I thought I might apologise for one death per anniversary. Fred was the worst for me, so I started with him."

Rowling was replying to a fan who noted more deaths in the Harry Potter world, including Nymphadora Tonks and Remus Lupin.

Some fans seemed to accept her apology and some still are totally mad that Lord Voldemort and his Death Eaters killed Fred in their fight. One person called the death "the saddest death in literature history."
