The phenomenon that is the Double Down sandwich from KFC has plagued our taste buds for a few years now, teasing us with limited runs and rumors of it being discontinued. Luckily for those yearning for the DD, a Kentucky-based company called Kentucky for Kentucky has crafted the next best thing: a candle that has the scent of the infamous chicken sandwich. Instead of waiting for its return, you can smell the Double Down now!

Kentucky for Kentucky is a company that creates products that are inspired by and crafted for the state from which it gets its name. Considering KFC's origins, this new candle scent makes complete sense to us (pun intended, sorry)!

What a dilemma," the company states in its description of the new candle (via UPROXX / IGN). "Well good news, Kentuckians, we've turned this elusive unicorn into a candle you can cradle year-round. Layered with pure Kentucky goodness, this Double Down candle starts off with a layer of Kathy's real Fried Chicken candle mixed with bacon pieces, easing into a bacon-scented center, finishing off with another layer of bona fide fried chicken. Let's leave a candle in the window to show our friend the way home."
