'Mad Men' Season 7: Ep 14: 'Person To Person' Recap: Will Jon Hamm's Don Draper Survive Finale?

The final episode of Season 7 from the critically acclaimed Mad Men airs on AMC. In episode 14, are Don Draper (Jon Hamm), Roger Sterling (John Slattery), and Joan Holloway (Christina Hendricks) ready to start with their new lives in 'Person To Person?'

In his new life, Don is driving at full speed as a race driver. During his meeting, Roger has to fire Meredith because he doesn't need two secretaries. Peggy (Elizabeth Moss) meets with her boss, Lorraine, because she has been moved to another account. Peggy calls Lorraine's buff and gets the account she wanted in the first place.

Living it up, Don is in bed with another woman. Joan tries cocaine for the first with Richard (Bruce Greenwood). High as hell, Richard wants to propose to Joan but they don't have to get married right now. Pete (Vincent Kartheiser) and Peggy say their goodbyes.

Don is talking to Sally, but he doesn't know about Betty (January Jones); she only has 6 months to live. Sally asks Don that her brothers should live with Henry. Betty though is too sick as she picks up the phone and talks to Don. Betty wants the kids to live with a family and a regular woman who will stick around. They both cry on the line before she hangs up. 

Cosgrove (Aaron Staton) meets with Joan because he needs a favor and her help with a project. Elsewhere, Don is too drunk to get back home. Joan then asks Peggy to help her fill in with the project. 

Don visits Stephanie (Caity Lotz) because he's in trouble and needs a place to crash. Roger is kicked out of the bedroom by Megan's mother. When Sally visits, Bobby already knows his mother is dying. Sally ends up teaching Bobby how to make dinner. Don ends up going to the retreat with Stephanie.

Roger visits Joan because he wants to divide his estate in his will; their boy is secure. He realizes it's his last chapter and getting married to Megan's mother. At the retreat, Don isn't enjoying himself and gets pushed around. Joan is interested is started her own business and asks Peggy to be a partner. 

Back at the retreat, Stephanie reveals she is being judged for being a screw-up, losing her child. After being mocked, Stan (Jay R. Ferguson) gives Peggy's advice; there's more to life than work. Joan wants to build something, but Richard thinks her attention will be put somewhere else. Richard wishes her good luck before leaving. 

Don wakes up and finds Stephanie missing. He calls Peggy for help but he never said good-bye to her. Don admits he broke his vows, scandalized his child, and took a man's name, made nothing of it. 

Stan tells Peggy she has to let go. During their conversation, Stan reveals he wants to be with her; he's in love with her. Peggy cries as she says she loves him back. Stan rushes to her office and kisses Peggy. During the seminar, Don meets a man, who is reflection of himself and hugs him. 

In the 70s, Peter and Trudy get into a plane as Joan's home has become an office. Roger is still married to Megan's mother. Sally helps around the house while Betty smokes. Peggy and Stan are living together. 

Don stares at the sun, meditates, and smiles as he has become enlightened. The show ends with McCann's famous Coca-Cola commercial as the show fades to black.
