As if Arrow and The Flash weren't enough, we have DC's Legends of Tomorrow to look forward to on the CW next year. The show bring back Caity Lotz as White Canary, and the actress discussed her role in a recent interview with TVLine.

"It's going to be big," Lotz said of the new series. "I did not really know much about the show but I said 'I want to do it, I trust you guys.' And when we were shooting our teaser, they were telling me some of the stuff that's going to be happening and I was like 'This is way cooler - not that I didn't think it would be cool...but the stuff, I wasn't imagining or picturing. It's going to be really fun to shoot and I think people are going to like it."

Lotz's original character, Sara Lance aka Black Canary, died in the Season 3 premiere of Arrow, so it was unclear how the Black Canary would return, but the network has since revealed her identity. Comic Book Resources has posted the official teaser image for the spinoff, which shows that Lotz portrays White Canary. Check it out here.

We also know the show will premiere as part of the network's midseason lineup, and we know the CW has ordered it to series. And it sounds like the show will be epic in scope based on the official description:

"When heroes alone are not enough... the world needs legends. Having seen a future he will desperately try to prevent from happening, time-traveling rogue Rip Hunter is tasked with assembling a disparate group of heroes and villains to confront an unstoppable threat -- one in which not only is the planet at stake, but all of time itself. Can this ragtag team defeat an immortal threat unlike anything they've ever known?"

Could this have something to do with the "Crisis" we've seen in the future newspaper on The Flash? Or is it some other threat? And could the time travel aspect of the show explain how Lotz's deceased character appears on the show as White Canary?

What do you think of Lotz's remarks? Let us know in the comments section.
