'Mad Men' Season 7 Cast: Jon Hamm's Don Draper Drama Nominated At 2015 TCA Awards!

The Season 7 series finale of the critically acclaimed Mad Men aired on AMC. After playing the memorable role of Don Draper for seven seasons, actor Jon Hamm has earned his recognition and the AMC drama has earned nominations at the upcoming 2015 TCA Awards.

In our previous recap, after being offered a new job offer, Peter (Vincent Kartheiser) wanted to reconcile with Trudy (Alison Brie) and be with his family again. What started as a clumsy trip on the stairs turned out to be a major health scare for Betty (January Jones). Dying from advanced lung cancer, Betty left a letter of instructions for her teenage daughter, Sally (Kiernan Shipka), to carry out.

In our finale recap, Roger Sterling (John Slattery) moved to Europe after marrying Megan's mother. A single mother, Joan (Christina Hendricks) started her own all-female business, straight out of her home. Peggy (Elisabeth Moss) professed her love for Stan (Jay R. Ferguson) and kissed him.

In the closing minutes, Don found himself at a retreat after Stephanie (Caity Lotz) abandoned him. Breaking down, Don wanted to come back for his dying ex-wife and and children, but he didn't want to return home empty-handed. In a state of medication, Don found himself inspired, coming up with the renowned Coca-Cola commercial that will make a mark in advertising history.

According to TV Line, the Television Critics Association has announced the nominees for the 31st Annual TCA Awards. Mad Men has been nominated for Program of the Year, Outstanding Achievement in Drama. The Town actor earned a nod for Individual Achievement in Drama as well.
