MStars News has learned that Jeff Laxamana, the father of Izabel, the13-year-old girl who jumped from a highway bridge and died after her father recorded a video of himself punishing her, will not be facing any criminal charges.

According to Inquisitr, the Tacoma Washington girl, Izabel Laxamana, committed suicide after being publicly shamed by her father, Jeff. In the YouTube video, Izabel's father humiliated her by posting a video of him cutting off her long, beautiful hair.

"The consequences of getting messed up?" the father said as he recorded his daughter's face after he cut off her hair. "Man, you lost all that beautiful hair. Was it worth it?"

"No," Izabel replied to her dad.

"How many times did I warn you?"

"Twice," she said lightly.

On May 30, Izabel Laxamana was seen getting out of her grandmother's car and jumping from the South 48th Street Bridge over Interstate 5. Izabel was rushed to a Seattle hospital where she later died from her injuries.

It's unclear why her father was punishing her, but many, including people who knew the 13-year-old girl, bashed her dad, Jeff, claiming he was the reason she killed herself.

"She was a 13-year-old that made some poor choices, meaning that she didn't have to kill herself," Tacoma Public Information Officer Loretta Cool claims. Police suspect an unidentified person was responsible for uploading the video, thinking it would help.

After an investigation took place, the Police revealed that "There was no history of child abuse in the family."

"It was, 'I'm going to record this, it's yours, that way you'll think twice before you do this again'."

There has been a Facebook page, "Justice For Izabel," that brings awareness to Izabel's punishment and the shaming of other children.

According to PopSugar, Izabel was reportedly bullied at Giaudrone Middle School, which she attended.
