Jamie Sangouthai's Brother Speaks Out; Lamar Odom Gets Wake Up Call From Friend's Overdose

It's been one tough week for Lamar Odom after his best friend, Jamie Sangouthai, died from an apparent overdose. Mstars News has learned that Sangouthai's only brother has come forth and is speaking out about the former Khloe and Lamar reality star.

In the snapshot below, a young man who goes by the name of castillo.7 on Instagram claims he was Jamie's brother. He wrote:

"This her [here] is my only older brother Jamie Sangouthai. Yes the one from the show Khloe and Lamar."

The unnamed man revealed that he had only met his deceased silbing a few times. "I have only met him a handful of times in my life because I didn't even know he existed until I was 15. He grew up in the streets of Queens, NY where we were both born."

He added that Hollywood was the reason for Jamie's downfall and the drug abuse that eventually killed him. "He was at one point a millionaire with everything he could ever want in life. But Hollywood chewed him up and spit him back out. But yet no matter when he was rich or poor he always had love for my sister and I and was very good at showing it, no matter how hard the drugs made it for him to focus on one thing. In the end we were all he had and we tried our best to save him from his drug use but we lost him. As of today I am sad to say he is no longer with us. May he R.I.P. I love you bro, always have and always will."

A crazy twist in this entire story is that it has recently come out that Love & Hip Hop Hollywood star, Miss Nikki Baby's, brother also died recently as a result of drugs. Some fans have questioned if Jamie and Nikki Mudarris' brother, whose name was Omar, were the same man but that is highly unlikely. Jamie was much older and he attended high school with Khloe Kardashian's estranged husband, Lamar. Nikki shared that her brother was 28 when she revealed that he died over the weekend.

Words can't describe pain I feel. I lost the only brother I ever had at 28 years old yesterday. How. Why. I'll never understand. He was such a Good person but the drugs took over his body and he left us. He had inner demons nobody could understand. I wish I could have said more done more helped more but he refused help and pushed us all away. I never thought I would see the day I say bye to my brother taking his last breath holding his hand and kissing him good bye. God knows his heart was made of gold and he didn't mean any harm. Please Allah find the strength to help my family and I with this emptiness and pain. I feel so numb I can't imagine moving on and life going on. I don't know where life goes from here. According to US Magazine, Lamar hasn't spoken about his friend's death yet, but he is quite "shaken" over it. The site claims that Odom was living it up in Las Vegas when he found out the tragic news.

"When he found out Jamie died, he was devastated," an insider stated. This site claims that Odom and Jamie hit a sour moment in their friendship before Jamie died, but that Larar is still highly upset and sad. "He feels like it could have happened to him. This is a huge wake-up call for him. It has really shaken him."

Hopefully, this is a wake up call for anyone out there who needs it! It's so sad to hear two heartbreaking stories about drugs and the damage they do to families all in one weekend.
