The June 24, 2015 episode of NXT airs on the WWE Network and features the return of Hideo Itami, as well as a match between Finn Balor and Rhyno.

The show begins with Itami, who comes out with his arm in a sling. They show footage of someone attacking him in the parking lot at NXT Takeover: Unstoppable. Itami says NXT has become popular in Japan, and the fans there are excited to see Kevin Owens face Balor for the NXT Championship. And no matter who wins, Hideo plans to challenge him for the belt.

Owens interrupts Itami and says it's cute that the crowd is chanting for Balor. He adds that Itami is delusional if he thinks Balor can win on July 4. Funnily enough, Owens struggles with his words here, but he turns it around by saying that he sounds like Hideo trying to speak English. He gets upset that people are blaming him for Itami's injury, so he might as well break his other arm. He runs into the ring, but Balor saves him and they fight on the ramp. Balor tries to dive off the stage, but Rhyno comes out, Gores him, and throws him off the stage.

Enzo Amore and Big Cass defeat Jason Jordan and Sylverster Lefort when Enzo rolls up Sylvester.

We see a recap of Samoa Joe making his in-ring debut in NXT last week, as well as some backstage promos from the last several weeks.

Dana Brooke squashes Kassey.

We see a video package in which Finn Balor talks about his time in New Japan Pro Wrestling, his work in the Tokyo Dome in front of tens of thousands of people, his friendship with NXT head trainer Matt Bloom, and the risks he took in coming stateside to the WWE.

Mojo Rawley and Zack Ryder defeat Sawyer Fulton and Angelo Dawkins with the Rough Ryder.

Eva Marie talks to General Manager William Regal backstage and says she has been working hard the last few months, and she hopes Regal can give her an opportunity.

Finn Balor defeats Rhyno when he dodges a Gore attempt and hits the double foot stomp from the top rope. Owens was on commentary for the match and at one point tried to attack, but Balor dropkicked him off the apron. After the bell, the champion immediately rushes the ring and beats the hell out of Balor. They brawl at ringside and Owens goes for the Apron Powerbomb, but Samoa Joe comes out and saves him. Owens and Rhyno bail together and stay on the entrance ramp, while Balor and Joe stand together in the ring as the show goes off the air.
