AMC's 'Humans' Recap: Will William Hurt, Colin Morgan, Gemma Chan Save Niska In Episode 4?

The sci-fi drama, Humans, continues with an all-new episode on AMC. In Episode 4, viewers will discover the connection between Dr. George Millican (William Hurt), Leo (Colin Morgan) and synth Anita (Gemma Chan) as the manhunt for Niska (Emily Berrington) leads them closer together towards a deadly conspiracy. 

During Hobbs (Danny Webb)'s interrogation, he discovers information about Leo and realizes he should be searching for human DNA. Elsewhere, Laura (Katherine Parkinson) discovers a case where an old woman is fighting for the rights of her Synth. Mattie (Lucy Carless) confronts Anita about her programming, wondering what's she is so scared about. 

Because he assaulted a journalist, Pete Drummond (Neil Maskell) is under suspension and is stuck at home. Unfortunately, Pete's wife wants a divorce. Pete ends up staying at the place of his partner, DI Karen Voss (Ruth Bradley). Karen even ends up drinking wine and making for Pete. Wanting to get back at his wife and her Synth, Pete convinces the journalist to drop the charges and investigate the robots. 

While the kids are at a party and Laura investigating her case, Joe (Tom Goodman-Hill) is left alone heartbroken and betrayed with Anita. Joe messes around with Anita's programming and has a sexual affair with her. At a party, Mattie gets into a fight with teen rapists who want to violate a female robot. 

Joe and Laura discover Anita isn't a brand new model; she's been around for 14 years. Mattie sets up a meeting with online users, who happen to know something about Anita. After Leo shows Mattie a picture of Anita, she makes a run for it. Max though discovers something is up with the code on his laptop. 

Leo and Max pay a visit to George, who is the only person who can analyze the code. George recognizes the data because it was designed by a former friend. Leo happens to be the son his friend but he's supposed to be dead. 

Before getting recharged, Niska is invited to Smash Club, where humans beat synths senseless. After watching a fight take place, Niska joins in on a match and starts beating the crap out of everyone. While Niska is attacking everyone, Leo hooks himself up to the code and discovers "life." 

After trying to help the other Synths escape, Niska is suddenly trapped by Hobbs (Danny Webb) and his gunmen. While holed up, Niska gets a call from Leo, saying he has found something important. Something is stored inside her head, and he needs all of them together. 

Making her own escape, Niska grabs one of the gunman and holds him hostage. After she has made it out of the building, Niska uses her nail gun and pins the gunman to the wall. Niska drops the nail gun as she safely walks out onto the streets.

After she says goodbye to her partner, Karen heads straight into her room, looks up, and takes out a bag of alcohol. Pete doesn't even know his partner is a synth.
