Where he was going, he didn't need roads! During the 30th Anniversary celebration of the hit 1980s movie Back to Future at the London Comic-Con, Michael J. Fox and other cast members inspired nostalgia in all the eager and admiring fans, some of which were dressed in costume for the occasion.

The Guardian reports, "The reunion panel was the main draw at this year's Showmasters' London Film & Comic Con, a popular gathering for comic book and fantasy film fans. Thousands of aficionados of the genre, many of them battling the heat in full-body latex, secured selfies and autographs with the likes of Sigourney Weaver and Michael Gambon, whose roles in Alien and Harry Potter have further expanded their fan-base."

Fox claimed that being there gave him "warm feelings" and continued to say, "you're the most genuine people I've met." Fox was joined by other original cast members from the films Christopher Lloyd (Dr. Emmet Brown), Lea Thompson (Marty's mother, Lorraine) and Claudia Wells, who played Marty McFly's girlfriend in the first film. Wells brought up a fan that had written a letter to her saying how he watched the movie every night in order to avoid committing suicide. He had been dealt with a pretty difficult childhood and Wells said she realized, "We were his family."

Fox himself explained during the event that he had gotten closer and closer to not continuing in show business around the time he was cast in the film, "I was thinking of working on the fish dock or joining the military like my dad. Then suddenly I found myself on a set with Steven Spielberg," he said, according to People magazine, at London Comic Con. '[I was] very overwhelmed by the whole experience. The nadir and the peak of my career happened at the same time,' " Yahoo! News reports. Clearly, the event was nostalgic and heartwarming for the cast and fans alike.
