USA's 'Mr. Robot' Recap: Episode 6: Christian Slater, Rami Malek's "Eps1.5_br4ve-trave1er.asf"

The highly anticipated hacker drama, Mr. Robot continues on USA Network. In Episode 6, eps1.5_br4ve-trave1er.asf, will Elliot (Rami Malek) be able to keep Angela Moss (Portia Doubleday) safe after anarchist Mr. Robot (Christian Slater) failed to hack Steel Mountain?

After staring at a painting, Elliot meets with Shayla (Frances Shaw) at a Spanish restaurant. They are both uncomfortable and awkward at their table. Elliot promise he will get her back before Shayla is taken hostage by Fernando's goons. On the phone, Fernando admits he's not angry, but impressed with Elliot. 

Fernando wants Elliot to do the impossible and get him out of prison by the end of the day. Knowing Elliot has to hack into the prison's network, Fernando's two goons promise to kill  Shayla if he does something put of the ordinary. Elsewhere, Angela is doing research about Terry Colby and making phone calls. Unfortunately, Angela has run out of time and has to go back to work. 

Angela meets with a lawyer, who once worked on a case against Evil Corp. Unfortunately, the lawyer doesn't want to work on the case again based on internet gossip. Darlene (Carly Chaikin) leaves a trail of external flash drives for a prison guard to pick. Unfortunately, he doesn't realize it's really a virus. 

Unfortunately, Darlene gets captured by one of Fernando's goons. The lawyer tells Angela that she had to rebuild her professional career after taking on Evil Corp. She needs an eye witness  before taking on the case again. Angela then reveals she works at a job that doesn't respect her, has a boyfriend that cheated on her, and her father is drowning in debt.

Tyrell Wellick (Martin Wallström) meets with his replacement for an interview. The replacement knows Tyrell is pissed he was passed over for CTO. He tells Tyrell that he will never be CTO and to stop playing his silly games. He offers his watch to pay for Tyrell's mortgage, which gets on his nerves.

While Elliot deals with Angela, Tyrell wrecks his kitchen in anger. Tyrell's wife thinks she has a plan up her sleeve, one that involves the replacement's wife. Angela reveals to Elliot that she is still angry and has an idea to change the world. Elliot tells Angela to trust herself and gets a hug from her. 

Mr. Robot warns Elliot that Fernando's goons will kill him and Darlene. He warns Elliot that the only outcome is death and Fernando wins. Mr. Robot advises that true courage is being honest with himself; Shayla will die. 

Elliot has a plan but it involves going to the prison. Fernando talks with Elliot, who plans on opening every cell door for his escape. Elliot promises to leak Fernando's info and delete his money if any harm comes to Shayla.  Angela meets with Terry Colby (Bruce Altman), who doesn't remember her. 

Just as Elliot has a lead, Fernando's brother is ready to kill him and put a bullet in his head.Elliot plays his best move to get brother against brother. While Darlene flirts with a prison guard, Elliot hacks into the prison network. 

As the nights turn out and cell doors open, a riot starts as the prisoners escape. Fernando then orders the hit on his brother. 

After Fernando hands him the keys, Elliots opens the trunk and finds Shayla dead, with her throat slit.
