Complications continues on USA Network with an all-new episode. In tonight's Episode 8, are Doctor John Ellison (Jason O'Mara) and his nurse Gretchen Polk (Jessica Szohr), getting combative against gangster Darius Bishop (Chris Chalk), as they sink deeper into the crime underworld?

In our previous recap, Dr. John Ellison (Mara) is a suburban doctor who used to be at the top of his game in the emergency room. Outside of work, Ellison is dealing with the emotional downfall of his daughter's death. With the loss of his daughter, Ellison suddenly finds redemption after he saves a young boy's life from a drive-by shooting. Gretchen (Szohr), a street-smart ER nurse, is caught in the middle when Ellison becomes involved in a gang war led by Darius Bishop (Chalk).

In our recent recap, John is brought into questioning by Detective Holden (Brent Sexton). Unfortunately, John makes matters worse, compromising his professional career as he confesses to being a junkie with his own addiction. After John's wife rescues him from the interrogation, the detective refuses to back down on his investigation against him.

In interview with TV Line, actress Constance Zimmer reveals her character, Dr. Laster returns to check in on Ellions, who has sunk deeper into his dark dilemma.

Zimmer describes her role in tonight's episode, "He's gotten completely lost in all of the drama, as you've seen on the show. It is so much fun when I pop in because it's almost like a retelling of what's been going on, like, 'This is everything you've done. Let's now decide where we go from here.' It's a great place for Dr. Laster to come back."

Zimmer adds, "He's still pretty aggressive with me. He's still pretty combative, and thinks that whats he's doing is not necessarily wrong, and that's what makes our relationship so great. I keep trying to get him to realize that everything's gotten insane and it's not going to get any better, and he's constantly trying to tell me, "No, I'm going to be fine. I've got it under control."

There are three episodes, three Thursdays at 10pm left of Complications on USA Network.

Readers, are you excited for tonight's episode?
