USA's 'Mr. Robot' Recap: Episode 7: Christian Slater, Rami Malek's "Eps1.6_v1ew-s0urce.flv!"

The highly anticipated hacker drama, Mr. Robot. continues on USA Network. In Episode 7, eps1.6_v1ew-s0urce.flv, will Elliot (Rami Malek) and anarchist Mr. Robot (Christian Slater) be able to keep Angela (Portia Doubleday) safe after failing to save Shayla (Frankie Shaw)?

In the flashback, Elliot returns to his apartment building, sees someone in Shayla's room, and starts dabbling in drugs again. Rushing inside, Sheryl had to get to water for her dying fish. While talking about music and concerts, Elliot asks Shayla to get his drugs.  They shake hands while introducing themselves. 

In the present, a month has passed, Elliot hates that he's used to Shayla not being around. Elliot's therapist (Gloria Rueben) wants him to keep seeing her, even though the court papers are signed. Elsewhere, Angela and her lawyer want to investigate unofficially Evil Corp to gather evidence but are turned down. 

Elliot meets with his boss, Gideon (Michel Gill),  who offers his condolences for Shayla's death. He's worried that Elliot refuses to take vacation and go back to work. After reading the newspaper, Mr, Robot tells Darlene (Carly Chaikin) he needs the Dark Army back. They need to meet with the leader, who may or may not even exist. 

Elliot admits he will miss Shayla as he wipes his hard drive and puts it in the microwave. Tyrell Wellick (Martin Wallström) is bored listening to the executives make sex jokes and office gossip. The executives are shocked when Tyrell fires them both; they did nothing.

Granted by her lawyer, Angela will have to go alone to meet with Terry Colby (Bruce Altman) and ask for something. Mr. Robot meets with a member of his team, Romero, and threatens him with a gun. Mr. Robot laughs it off as he throws the gun away.

After staring at his portrait, Angela meets with Colby in his private room. Terry wants Angela to write the amount he wants on a piece of paper. Instead, Angela wants to know if Terry is willing to betray Evil Corp in court. Terry responds by saying he will pull his pants down and wants her to suck.  

Angela warns Terry that he will end up like her; losing everyone's respect. While Elliot takes the dog to a veterinarian, Angela gets a call from her lawyer; Terry is back in. Darlene meets with her ex, who's mad she used his handle. 

Angela meets with Colby again, admitting he was drunk and eating shrimp during the chemical leak that killed her mother. Terry reveals he just woke up the next day and went to work. At a function, Tyrell and his wife continue their schemes, chasing after the replacement's spouse.

Knowing she's lying to protect Colby, Gideon wants her she is affecting the lives of everyone at AllSafe. On the rooftop, Tyrell has a sexual affair with another man's wife, then starts choking her to death. after checking her pulse, Tyrell freaks out knowing that he strangled her.

Though Darlene just wants momentary anarchy, she understands she needs others to see this through. Ollie (Ben Rappaport) is blackmailed by Darene's ex to do something else. Though he's not supposed to, Elliot shows up to his meeting with his therapist. 

In his session, Elliot reveals he hasn't been taking his meds, what he knows about her, and admits he's lonely. Elliot hacks his friends, everyone, because he wants a way out of loneliness.
