USA's 'Mr. Robot' Recap: Episode 8: Christian Slater, Rami Malek's "Eps1.7_wh1ter0se.m4v!"

The highly anticipated hacker drama, Mr. Robot. continues on USA Network. In Episode 8, eps1.7_wh1ter0se.m4v will Elliot (Rami Malek) and anarchist Mr. Robot (Christian Slater) be able to keep Angela (Portia Doubleday) safe after Tyrell Wellick (Martin Wallström)'s murder?

After sleeping with an executive, Darlene (Carly Chaikin) wonders why the world can't take care of itself and pays a visit to Angela during her ballet class. Tyrell exits the elevator, enters the hallway, and bumps into a co-worker, who spills his coffee all over him. He then meets with Gideon (Michel Gill), who admits about what Angela did. Tyrell attempts to hack into his code but Fsociety is blocking him. 

At AllSafe, everyone is working overtime as their systems are being hacked. Elliot notices Ollie (Ben Rappaport) is acting weird around him, asking him for a favor. After hacking into Angela's emails, Elliot realizes something wrong is happening to her. 

Elliot confronts Angela about the hack to Allsafe. She should have gone to him, but he's never there. Angela knows Elliot is lying; their problems have been around since before Shayla. She feels like she needs to quit and needs him now more than ever. Elliot admits the two don't talk to each other anymore. 

After meeting with White Rose, Elliot heads back to AllSafe with the code. While FSociety causes a distraction, Elliot manages to unlock the code but gets caught by Gideon. After getting yelled at Gideon, Elliot feels bad he hurt him by taking out "the honeypot" and doesn't believe he's useful to AllSafe anymore. 

Though they don't trust each other, Mr. Robot has been working with Tyrell in secret. Tyrell returns home to his wife, only for the police to question. Knowing he is going to crack, Tyrell's wife physically hurts herself to save him. 

Elliot tells Darlene that the revolution is really going to happen. When Darlene starts to tell him, he is the best person she ever met, Elliot kisses her. Knowing he forgot, Darlene asks Elliot if he remembers who she is. 

Realizing Darlene is actually his sister, Elliot heads straight back to his home, wondering how he could have forgotten something important like that. Realizing he's going crazy, Elliot hacks himself, trying to figure out who he really is.

Finding a black CD, Elliot unlocks the images inside and discovers tons of photos. Each photo has Mr. Robot and Elliot when he was just a boy. He then finds a wrinkled photo of himself and Darlene, when they were younger, with their parents.

Hearing a knock at the door, Elliot confronts the man standing in the doorway, Mr. Robot, is actually his father.
