The X-Files Revival Episode 2 Spoilers: David Duchovny, Gillian Anderson, Annabeth Gish Meet?

Back by popular demand, the iconic sci-fi/horror series is returning with a familiar face on Fox. In the revival of The X-Files, in episode 2, will paranormal investigators Fox Mulder (David Duchovny) and Dana Scully (Gillian Anderson) need Monica Reyes (Annabeth Gish)'s help?

As we previously mentioned,13 years have passed since FBI agents Fox Mulder and Dana Scully were on the TV screen solving weird and supernatural cases. The reboot of Fox's popular sci-fi series continues with 6 brand new episodes. Not only are the leads set to reprise their iconic roles, creator Chris Carter will takeover as showrunner for the franchise that launched his and many other careers.

According to TV Line, the Sons of Anarchy actress will reprise her role once again. Reyes will appear in one episode of the upcoming six-episodes. Last seen in the series finale, Reyes helped Mulder and Scully escape from government agents after their trial. Unfortunately, sources confirm that Reyes' partner, John Doggett (Robert Patrick), will not be joining her.

The site also states, "I've learned that the second hour of The X-Files' six-episode revival - the Glen Morgan written/directed Home Again - will pick up several months after the events of the premiere, and word on the streets of Vancouver is that the installment (featuring, as I previously reported, a Monster of the Week called 'Band-Aid Nose Man') is absolutely brutal. Some are already dubbing it one of the most violent X-eps in history. "

The X-Files returns with a special two-night event beginning Sunday, January 24, 2016, following the NFC Championship Game. The event continues with its time period premiere on Monday, January 25, 2016 (8pm).
