It's no surprise that the two Saturday Night Live Alums would enjoy working on a film together! Amy Poehler and Tina Fey both recently spoke about their filming experience on Sisters and it sounds like "fantasy camp" to Poehler!

Recently Poehler was interviewed by Yahoo! News and they discussed the filming of Sisters where Poehler and Fey play sisters who play "sisters who throw one last blowout after discovering their parents plan to sell the family home," Entertainment Weekly reports. Poehler told Yahoo! News about the dynamic between the two long-time friends and how this translated so well onto the screen.

"Neither of us have sisters so we're sort of like that to each other. Although I think we get on better than sisters. We've known each other for a long time, 20 years and know so much about each other," she explained. "There's a history and an understanding there. And we're so used to working together. Sisters was particularly fun, though, because we never played sisters and it is an interesting relationship to play because as sisters you are tight but so very different. It was interesting figuring out that dynamic." Poehler then went on to say that it was even like a nice little vacation so that her and Fey could hang out and actually see each other in addition to working together. "I'm living in LA while she's in New York so we don't get to see each other that often and working on this meant we got to spend last summer together, rent a house in Long Island with all our kids playing together. It was great."

Along with Fey and Poehler's incredible on-screen rapport and their extensive experience with improv, the film has an urgency and a hilarity that would come similar to any other comedy like Superbad where the action all takes place in one night.

"[My character] kind of loses her mind as the party goes on...I got to break through ceilings and watch trees smash through houses and drunkenly mouth off to a cop. It's fantasy camp for a 40-something-year-old woman," Poehler said. There is also an infamous scene already of the two women in a bathtub together. Poehler told Entertainment Weekly that when she saw the scene, she just "burst into tears," saying, "it was too much!"

The film is hitting theaters this October and it is going to be so much fun. Poehler even quipped that Star Wars will have to compete with their film! If you haven't seen the trailer already, check it out here!
