Based on Guillermo Del Toro's bestselling graphic novels, published by Dark Horse Comics, Season 2 of The Strain continues on FX. In the upcoming Episode 7, is Ephraim Goodweather (Corey Stoll) in danger of being "turned" into a vampire, like his Zach (Max Charles)?

In our recent recap, Dutch and Nora finally met with Councilwoman Justine Feraldo (Samantha Mathis), who helped free Fet from custody. Continuing his search for the Occido Lumen, Abraham found himself teaming up with Reggie. While Eph headed off to Washington D.C., his vampire wife continues to search for their son. A new arrival may spark trouble in the war against The Master.

In our previous recap, Kelly Goodweather (Natalie Brown) went after Nora (Mia Maestro) and her son with her vampire children. Though Vasiliy Fet (Kevin Durand) managed to take down one of the feelers, Reggie Fitzwilliam (Roger Cross) was suddenly bitten. Abraham (David Bradley) had no choice but to end his life and chop his head off.

In an interview with Dread Central, the Ant-Man actor reveals what's in store for Eph, "Well, the Feelers are the formidable part of the Strigoi Army. They're fast, they can crawl on walls, and they play an important part of the Master's arsenal going forward the rest of the season."

Stoll adds, how the dynamic has changed between Eph, his wife, and son, "I think obviously it's personal now that Kelly has turned and is actively trying to turn Zach, but I think just his personality is such, too, that he's won at everything pretty much in his life, up till now. Now he's in a situation where he's lost more in the last week than he has in his entire life... he's always been a very Alpha guy and very Type A. He's been knocked down numerous pegs and is admitting such, but he still can't let go on either front so it's personal, but it's also professional."

As we previously mentioned, The Strain has been renewed for a third season.
Season 2 ofThe Strain continues Sundays at 10pm on FX.
