Today, Aug. 27, 2015, marked the draw for the UEFA Champions League groups stage schedule, which had a huge effect on the teams organized into the eight groups of the tournament, as well as Twitter! #UCLdraw became the top trending Twitter hashtag while some of our favorite teams were divided into groups for the upcoming 2015/2016 tournament. Today's momentous draw was brief, but it will affect the following teams over the next couple of months and hopefully into next year for those luckily enough to make it past the important groups stage.

Considering this is one of the biggest annual tournaments in the world of football, Twitter quickly became rampant with tweets about the draw. In fact, the top trending hashtag of the day was #UCLdraw, with countless fans sharing thoughts and reactions to the groups announced today.
