5 Thoughts On Krysten Ritter 'Marvel's Jessica Jones' Teaser Before Netflix November Premiere!

With production of Season 2 of Marvel's Daredevil underway, Netflix has released its first teaser for Marvel's Jessica Jones. This is the perfect opportunity to check out actress Krysten Ritter (Breaking Bad) as the titled super heroine before her November premiere date.

As we previously mentioned, Jessica Jones (Ritter) suffers from post-traumatic stress due to her superhero days. After giving up on her costumed lifestyle, Jones becomes the sole owner of Alias Private Investigations. The Netflix series follows the super-powered private eye as she investigates cases of the extraordinary kind.

5) The Purple Man

As we previously mentioned, Marvel announced that the Fright Night actor will play the Marvel super villain, the Purple Man. In a heist gone horribly wrong, Zebediah Killgrave was doused with an experimental nerve gas. The effects of the nerve gas leave the former spy with the ability to command and control other people. If you pay close attention, that's Tennant's voice you hear whispering Jessica's name.

4) TV-MA?

It's a tough call to figure out the rating system on Netflix. Marvel's Daredevil was close to an R-rating, especially when Wilson Fisk (Vincent D'Onofrio) crushed a man's head in with a car door. Notice in the footage, there is a cup tipping over and spilling alcohol all over the screen. Will the series look into Jessica Jones's post-traumatic stress disorder?

Will the Netflix series be faithful to the Marvel series written by Brian Michael Bendis (Miles Morales) and artist Michael Gaydos (Manhunter)? If you have read the first volume of Jessica Jones, then you remember the private eye throws her client out the door. Notice the name of Alias Investigations on the glass!

In the stylish animated sequence, we get a glimpse of Jessica Jones standing by herself in the streets. If you look closely at the background, you'll see the Avengers Tower behind her. How closely connected is Jessica Jones to Matt Murdock and Luke Cage in this Marvel/Netflix Univserse? Plus, does anyone now the name of this song in the video? This critic is hooked on the evocative track!

1) New York Comic Con!

According to IGN, Netflix and Marvel will debut the first footage from Season 2 of Marvel's Daredevil and the freshmen season of Marvel's Jessica Jones at this year's New York Comic Con. Last year, MStars got a sneak peek at three exclusive scenes from Daredevil, which also featured the man without fear in action. We're looking forward to seeing who shows up and what will be screened at NYCC!
