It has been a hard couple of weeks for Today Show host Kathie Lee Gifford, as the starlet has been dealing with the sudden passing of her longtime husband and NFL star Frank Gifford. While the talk show host has been grieving since Gifford's passing on Aug. 9, she returned to work a couple of weeks later and was greeted with open arms from her bestie and co-host Hoda Kotb. However, as the days go on, Kathie Lee has realized that it is too difficult living in the Greenwich, Connecticut home that she shared with Frank, and has decided to put it up on the market.

According to Radar Online, a source close to the TV host has explained that there are too many memories in the house and Kathie doesn't want to be there without her former husband.

"Kathie Lee wants to sell the home because it is just too hard for her to be there without Frank," the insider explained to the news site. "That house really holds too many memories for her and, now that the kids are all grown up, Kathie Lee says that she doesn't need that much space on her own anymore."

Yet, according to Realty Today, there is one stipulation in her selling the house: Hoda's pal explained that she doesn't want to sell it to just anyone, but rather to someone she knows will take care of it.

"The home is immaculate and Kathie Lee knows that she will get a lot of money for it, but she wants the house to be sold to someone that she knows rather than just to anyone. She needs to know that whoever is going to move into her home will cherish it in the same way that her and Frank did."
