Some may say that PSV is the underdog team going into this match, but manager Phillip Cocu insists his players aren't afraid of the challenge.
"We have European experience [from the UEFA Europa League] and will get more by playing matches at this level," he told the press, according to UEFA.com. "Everybody is looking forward to this game. It is prestigious and the stakes are high - it is important. United have a lot of individual quality, they are experienced and they are a top football team. You can see the hand of Louis van Gaal. Our intention is to go for the win, but we will not be naive. Our initial aim, however, is to try to win."

Meanwhile, Van Gaal told the media that this tournament is where he hopes the team with prove themselves.
"We have to show on the pitch if we are able to win matches at the highest level in my opinion - that is the challenge for us now," he said. "Last year we were fourth in the Premier League and because of that we qualified for the Champions League, but now we have to show we can play at this level. I don't know if we can, I have to wait and see."
