Deadline Day has come and gone, and the transfer window for the Premier League has officially closed. Did your favorite BPL team make and good bids, resulting in solid transfers? Or are you like Chelsea fans, desperately hoping the team climbs the standings this season with its mediocre signings. Paul Pogba will stay at Juventus despite plenty of reports of him coming to Stamford Bridge, leaving Chelsea and manager Jose Mourinho without of top players joining the team on the last day of signings. Check out more news on this below.

Chelsea's managed to come out with some impressive players, but not the high-profile footballers we've heard about. Pogba stays at Juventus, John Stones won't leave Everton and some new signings are out on loan anyway.

The window is closed and the biggest signing is that of Papy Djibodji, a Senegal footballer formerly of Nantes. Papy is sure to round out the defense for Mourinho (via The Daily Mail).

"I'm very happy to sign for a big club like Chelsea and I want to do my best to help the team win titles," the new signing said, according to Chelsea's official website. "I want to thank the club for giving me this opportunity."

Meanwhile, Reading's Michael Hector also signed with Chelsea, but is being loaned back to Reading for the remainder of the season, which might seem a little confusing, and possibly pointless (via).

Baba Rahman, Pedro, Asmir Begovic, Kenedy, and Radamel Falcao were previous signings within the transfer window that have already had an impact on the pitch.

There was also some transfer rumors surrounding Guangzhou Evergrande defender Zhang Linpeng coming to Chelsea, but we haven't heard any news on this speculation for a number of days. It's too late, anyway.
