From the comedic mind of Beavis and Butt-head, HBO is receiving critical praise for Season 2 of Silicon Valley. As Season 3 gets underway, the HBO comedy starring Richard Hendricks (Thomas Middleditch) and Erlich Bachman (T.J. Miller), won big at the 2015 Creative Arts Emmy Awards.

In our finale recap, much like the real-life story of Dick Costolo stepping down at Twitter, Richard found himself fired from his own company. Monica's Boss bought more seats as the board member of Pied Piper, which completely outvoted Richard and Erlich. After everything he worked hard for, dealing with night sweats, and finally winning the lawsuit against Hooli, Richard was kicked out of Pied Piper.

As we previously mentioned, Silicon Valley has been nominated for Outstanding Comedy Series, competing against Louie, Modern Family, Parks And Recreation, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, Transparent, and Veep. The episode Sand Hill Shuffle is also nominated for Outstanding Directing For A Comedy Series.

According to Variety, Silicon Valley won the awards for Outstanding Single-Camera Picture Editing For A Comedy Series and Outstanding Production Design For A Narrative Program (Half-Hour Or Less). Richard Toyon, Production Designer, L.J. Houdyshell, Art Director, and Jenny Mueller, Set Decorator, all won for the Outstanding Production Design.

In our MStars News Interview, we spoke with the Emmy winning production designer Richard Toyon about being nominated, "It was really gratifying and because the show is a lot of work! I often call it the biggest little show I've ever been on because it's so involved! There's so many facets to it to bring it all together to portray on the screen. So when we got the nomination, it was very satisfying to know that all of your hard work has been recognized."

Toyon adds he's very excited to go back to work on the show, "I can't wait to start it! I'm currently doing a show right now for ABC and it's completely different, 180 degrees! It's a hospital story called Code Black and it's about emergency medicine. It's great! It's a terrific one hour drama but going from that to something like a half hour comedy is like night and day. But I really enjoy working on Silicon Valley! We've got a really great group of people there! And it's just non-stop creativity!"

The 2015 Creative Arts Emmy Awards will be telecast Sept. 19 on FXX. Andy Samberg (Brooklyn Nine-Nine) will host the Emmy Awards on September 20, 2015.

Silicon Valley returns to HBO for Season 3.
