On Monday's The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Ronda Rousey demonstrated a few moves on one of Ellen's producers, Andy Lassner, showing Ellen and the audience how to tap a guy out. Lassner thought he'd start off by being funny and pushing Rousey, but that just led to utter humiliation as Rousey pinned him without ever breaking her conversation with DeGeneres.
According to ESPN, during Monday's show, the UFC champ stopped by to chat with DeGeneres about her career and her book. She also got the chance to show off some of her favorite moves. Rousey also got a bit emotional, considering the fact that she's known for her tough-as-nails demeanor. She revealed she cries all the time during fight week, "You're so amped up and it's like every emotion that you could possibly have, it happens during that week," she admitted.
"It's like the most stress, most anxiety, most pressure possible and then it's the happiest you could possibly be. It's all these things and it's just sometimes you can't hold it in. It's gotta leak out of somewhere, why not your eyes?"
According to Sports Illustrated, Rousey also spoke on being the highest paid fighter in the UFC. She said it's "pretty cool" and "fun to say," although she didn't actually mention what her salary is specifically.
At the end of the show, Ellen got her executive producer, Andy Lassner, to help demonstrate some of Rousey's favorite moves. By help demonstrate, we mean Lassner was used as a dummy as Rousey performed her moves on Lassner, completely destroying him in a cage. She performed her famous armbar on him, as well as an ogoshi, which is basically a body slam using your hip.
The best part about the clip is how calm and easily Rousey performed her moves, demonstrating that she can easily tear a person apart, limb-by-limb if she truly wished to. Now, that's the definition of a fearless and strong woman.
