Zach Galifianakis, Louis C.K. FX Comedy ‘Baskets’ Teaser Trailer Released

Over a year ago it was reported that Zach Galifianakis and Louis C.K. were working on an FX comedy series together titled Baskets. And while the rest of 2014 passed, as did the first half of 2015 (seriously, we're almost done with 2015!), it looks as if the network has just released a small teaser trailer for the comedy.

Baskets centers on Chip Baskets, who "leaves his job in the corporate world to pursue his dreams of becoming a clown." Our guess here is that Galifianakis is Chip Baskets, of course.

In the below 20-second video, Galifianakis can be seen at a fast food chain's drive-thru window attempting to get himself a beverage. Unfortunately all of the choices are just too rare for the store. You know, things like Tangerine Fanta, Pepsi Lime and Schweppes.

The promo was uploaded just today via the FX Networks YouTube Page and already has over 9,500 views. And despite there being only one comment, which was positive, our guess is that most of us are pretty psyched for what the two comedians have in store.

Baskets doesn't have a solid premiere date yet but it's being reported that January 2016 is the goal.

As we all know (hopefully), C.K. is no stranger to FX. His hit series Louie has completed five seaons, all of which have been praised by both the network and his fans alike.

MStars News reported back in August that the comedian was taking a hiatus from writing, directing, producing, editing and starring in the FX series to make some time for himself—most likely to focus on stand-up.

Galifianakis was recently seen in the Oscar Award-winning film Birdman.
