CBS' 'Supergirl' Spoilers: Melissa Benoist, Mehcad Brooks' 'Scorpion' Season 2 Promo Premiere!

Before its the official October premiere date, CBS will present an all new-promo of DC Comics superheroine Supergirl. Check out Kara Danvers (Melissa Benoist), Alex Danvers (Chyler Leigh), Jimmy Olsen (Mehcad Brooks) during the Season 2 premiere of Scorpion!

As we previously mentioned, the CBS superhero drama will follow the comic book adventures of Kara Zor-El (Benoist). Born on the planet Krypton, Kara Zor-El escaped before its destruction. While living on Earth, Kara has been hiding the powers she shares with her famous cousin. But now at the tender age of 24, she decides to embrace her superhuman abilities and become the hero she was always meant to be.

According to TV Line, "CBS will debut never-before-seen Supergirl footage (from episodes other than the pilot, at last!) during Scorpion's Season 2 premiere, airing Monday, Sept. 21, at 9pm."

TV Guide mentions, the plot synopsis follows the Scorpion team reunited after a nuclear-powered Russian satellite is knocked out of orbit. Before the satellite detonates, the group discovers Paige kissed Walter. As Paige (Katharine McPhee) and Walter (Elyes Gabel) confront their feelings towards each other, Gene Simmons of the rock band Kiss makes a guest appearance.

As we previously mentioned, Warner Bros. TV is bringing to their freshmen series to New York Comic-Con next month, on Sunday October 11. Supergirl joins Blindspot, DC's Legends of Tomorrow and Containment, as well as returning series Gotham and Person of Interest. There will be advance viewings of pilot episodes from Supergirl, Containment and Lucifer. After the screening of the complete pilot, the panel will be followed by a special Q&A with series stars, Melissa Benoist, Chyler Leigh, Mehcad Brooks, and executive producer Ali Adler.
