Last night's Emmy Awards went off without a hitch, but if you ask Episodes star Matt LeBlanc, things didn't quite go as he hoped. LeBlanc failed to win the Emmy he was nominated for; in fact, he was mocked a little bit by Live host Jimmy Kimmel while the host was giving out the award. But it's cool, Joey got him back by doling out the middle finger – keeping true to his New York character on Friends.

It all went down after Kimmel presented the award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series. The Emmy went to Jeffrey Tambor for his performance in the Amazon series Transparent, but it was Kimmel's bit beforehand that had everyone talking. The former Man Show host joked that he could really say whoever he wanted, in regards to who won the Emmy.

Kimmel kicked off his segment noting that the envolopes which hold the winners' names are put securely into a briefcase attached to a person's hand. Then, forgetting all security, "they just give it to me," Kimmel joked. He further said that he could give the award to whomever he chooses.

"If the card says Louis C.K. and I say the Emmy goes to Matt LeBlanc, what are they going to do – stop the show?"

Therefore, with that in mind and to prove he had the power, he took out a pair of scissors and cut out the name... and then ate the name.

And while the audience found it oh-so-humorous, it looks as if LeBlanc took issue with it and decided to show Kimmel just what he thought of his little piece of "comedy".

Thankfully Kimmel tweeted it afterwards:
