You'd probably imagine the Capital One Cup as a great testing ground for lineups changes, and that's exactly what Reading coach Steve Clarke has in mind today.

"A lot of people have played a lot of football but you have to remember that we brought in 11 new players over the summer," he explained, according to Everton's match preview. "For the Capital One Cup there will probably be more than one or two changes. There could be a number of changes for that game. But the team we put on the pitch will be more than competitive."

Speaking of changes: could we see the debut of "street footballer" Leandro Rodriguez today? According to manager Roberto Martinez, yes!

"He will be involved in the squad but his role will depend on the game," the coach said. "Leandro is ahead of his development but he needs space and time to get used to the physicality of the British game so nothing has changed for him. What has surprised me is how quickly he's adapted to being effective here."
