Heading into today's Cup battle, Arsenal's record isn't favorable. Coach Arsene Wenger spoke about this during his pre-match press conference this week.
"I believe we were unfortunate in Zagreb to [have a man] sent off, and at Chelsea as well," he said. "But you want your players to behave in a perfect way and not to show any response at all. You have to be committed because that's what our fans expect from us, to be up for the battle and play good football. At the end of the day that is the most important thing."

The League Cup is a great place to test out younger talent, and Tom Carroll is exactly that. He's looking forward to seeing some field time today.
"It's a huge game and I'm sure everyone associated with the club is looking forward to it," he said, according to the team's website. "A great atmosphere is guaranteed when you're playing in a North London derby and with the fans right behind us the players will relish the challenge. Form counts for nothing in a game like this, but our aims are to progress in all the competitions so it should be a great match."
