Momma Dee Talks About Arrest: 'LHHATL' Star Thanks Scrappy's Ex, Shay Johnson

MStars News has learned that Love & Hip Hop Atlanta (LHHATL) star, Momma Dee, is speaking out and talking about the event after she was arrested over the weekend for a "dine & dash" on her birthday. One person that Momma Dee thanked for support is Lil Scrappy's ex-fling, Shay Johnson. Scrappy's mom also let her fans know that she was found not guilty.

In a new post on Instagram, Momma Dee updated her fans following her crazy weekend. She wrote, "Reality shows make us seem like we are invincible, like we don't have feelings or families. I'm eternally grateful to my fans for your support and belief in me," Scrappy's mother said revealing that she was also found not guilty. She continued, "TODAY...the court system found me NOT GUILTY of the charges you've been reading all over the blogs. Matter of fact they dismissed the charges brought against me from."

Momma Dee continued and said, "It's sad that in today's society you can't enjoy yourself without the police being called.. This is not the 1st time a certain group of people have been targeted by this establishment..but ok." The Love and Hip Hop Atlanta star said that she would pray for the establishment and wished them well. She also said that she was "thankful for her fans, family and friends." Momma Dee sent a special shout out to Shay Johnson and her family and said, "no matter what people think..she always holds me down!"

MStars News wonders if Shay was the one who bailed Momma Dee out of jail? Shay and Scrappy broke up a long time ago and it's kind of good that Momma Dee still has a relationship with her. In another post Scrappy defended his mother when one follower asked why she didn't pay her dinner bill. Scrappy claimed that his mother was "too drunk" to understand. Well now, MStars News wants to know what you think about this entire situation.  Does being "too drunk" to understand you have to pay for food excuse you not paying?

It will be interesting to see if Shay's rescue help rekindle her past relationship with Scrappy? He is single now after publicly breaking up with his longtime girlfriend, Bambi.

MStars News previously reported, that Momma Dee, whose real name is Deborah Bryant was slapped with handcuffs and arrested after she and her pals refused to pay for their dinner in a Milwaukee, Wisconsin restaurant on her birthday. The dinner wasn't to celebrate her special day, but just an outing that she was invited too on her birthday.

Momma Dee claimed that the entire arrest was a huge misunderstanding and that she was arrested after she had went to the restroom, while the others dipped out of the venue without paying. Momma Dee offered to pay her part of the bill but no one else was hauled away to jail, where she was released a few hours later after making bail.

There's no word if the others who left the restaurant were arrested or charged.
