With the rise of the superhero movies, including Justice League and Suicide Squad, how long before studios start to cast their Batman Beyond movie. After becoming Firestorm on The Flash, Robbie Amell is interested in putting on the Batsuit worn by Bruce Wayne's protege, Terry McGinnis.

As we previously mentioned, The Tomorrow People actor will play smart and smooth Agent Miller. Joined by DIG actress, Lauren Ambrose will portray the equally sharp and confident Agent Einstein. No word yet on which one of the six episodes they will appear in. Amell recently appeared in the wrap-up photo with Gillian Anderson, who reprises the role of Agent Dana Scully, and with the rest of the crew.

According to IGN, during a panel at Salt Lake Comic Con, The Duff actor was excited to answer a fan's speculative question. Would he be interested in starring as Terry McGinnis in a live-action movie adaptation of Batman Beyond? The X-Files actor responded with, "I am a huge fan of that idea."

The Flash actor discuss his interest on a dark and gritty version of Batman Beyond, "I think the smartest idea for them would be to make it like a $30 million movie. Don't do like a $200 million blockbuster, do a dark, gritty version of Batman Beyond."

Smell adds, "The visual effects have come so far that you don't need $200 million to show the technology that they have. Make it a nice, grounded character piece. But I don't run studios, so that means nothing."

With the second season premiere of The Flash just days away, Ronnie Raymond (Amell) will be back, but for how long? The first season finale teased that Raymond's wife, Caitlin Snow (Danielle Panabaker), was going to turn to the dark side and become the super villain known as Killer Frost? Will Firestorm be showing up in Legends of Tomorrow?

Readers, would you like Robbie Amell to play Terry McGinness?
