Comedian Marc Maron has had a longtime feud with Saturday Night Live creator Lorne Michaels—whether or not the latter actually knows it. He's been very open in the past about wanting to have Michaels on his podcast, WTF. And while, for a long time, it looked like it would never happen, it seems that after President Barack Obama came on Michaels must have had a change of heart.

Yes, it's true; Lorne Michaels will appear on WTF with Marc Maron, and it's all going down Monday, Oct. 5.

Per a report from Vulture, Maron released the information of his interview with Michaels at The New Yorker Festival this past weekend.

It was joked about at the festival that Michaels' booking answers the longtime question on WTF: Who would be harder to book, the president or Lorne Michaels? To that, Maron joked, "Turns out the president is easier to book than Lorne Michaels." He added that he will officially talk with the mind behind SNL on Monday but added that he's undoubtedly very nervous.

"I'm set up for something to be horrible," he said, adding, "I don't' have the right attitude for this interview."

The Maron star then added that he has some "daddy sh*t" to go through with Michaels – as he has a little bit of history with the executive producer. Specifically that he feels he was brought in for a Weekend Update audition merely to "taunt" Norm Macdonald, as Vulture puts it.

"The best and worst thing Lorne Michaels can do is when I go, 'That day that I came in for the meeting,' and he goes, 'I have no recollection,'" Maron said. "That would be so amazing, I would cry."

So, thoughts?

SNL recently aired its Season 41 premiere with host and musical guest Miley Cyrus. This coming Saturday will house host Amy Schumer, followed by former player Tracy Morgan.
