If you were at the Comedy Cellar in New York City on Monday then you might have seen an amazing sight: comedian Tracy Morgan getting onstage for the first time since his car accident with Walmart truck driver Kevin Roper to perform some stand-up comedy!

The Huffington Post reports that it was the first time Morgan got on stage to perform stand up since his June 2014 accident. After the set, the former 30 Rock lead tweeted out a photo of him at the Cellar, noting that it had been 16 months and he was "picking up the pieces" during last night's set.

The Comedy Cellar is famous for having notable stand-ups simply drop by to perform sets. It's housed the likes of Louis C.K., Jerry Seinfeld, Chris Rock, Ray Romano, and many more.

Perhaps another reason Morgan decided to hop onstage was because of his upcoming gig this Saturday, in which he will be the host of Saturday Night Live with musical guest Demi Lovato.

Back in June 2014, Morgan was involved in a car accident in New Jersey with a Walmart truck. The accident took the life of his friend and fellow comedian James "Jimmy Mack" McNair. Morgan was put into a coma for nearly two weeks from the accident.

Since coming out of it, Morgan has steadily been strengthening himself, and during last month's Emmy Awards, he made an appearance on stage that delivered a standing ovation. And, yes, he promised to get a whole lot of women pregnant at the after show.

You know, despite recently getting married.

Be sure to check out Morgan's episode of Saturday Night Live on Oct. 17.
