During Tuesday's preseason game against the Golden State Warriors, Los Angeles Clippers star point guard Chris Paul was ejected during the third quarter. Apparently, Paul hates being treated as a child, as he told a referee: "Don't talk to me like I'm a little kid."

This isn't the first time Paul got angry for being treated like a child. As reported by Bleacher Report, a few years ago Paul got mad at former LA Lakers forward Pau Gasol for "sonning" him, the act of condescendingly putting one's hand on someone else's head like a child.

Earlier this year, Chris Paul got a technical foul during the Clippers and Cleveland Cavaliers game in February, for exchanging some words with female referee, Lauren Holtkamp. He claimed Holtkamp's call was "ridiculuous":

"I think we have to show better composure," he said, according to ESPN, "but at the same time, some of [the technical fouls] were ridiculous. The tech that I get right there was ridiculous. I don't care what nobody says, I don't care what she says; that's terrible. There's no way that can be a tech. We try to get the ball out fast every time down the court, and when we did that, she said, 'Uh-uh.' I said, 'Why, uh-uh?' And she gave me a tech. That's ridiculous. If that's the case, this might not be for her."

So when Paul got ejected during Tuesday night's win over the reining NBA Champions, it didn't come as much of a surprise. (Well, the fact that he got ejected for back-talking kind of did, but the fact that he got upset over the call didn't).

Here's what Paul said before the referee gave him his second technical foul and ejected him during the third quarter:

"I've got two kids of my own," Paul started when he was ejected from the game for his second technical foul, as reported by Sporting News. "Don't take to me like I'm a little kid."

You can actually watch Paul tell the referee not to disrespect him in the video below:

That Paul got ejected after the exchange of words seemed quite vindictive of the referee, especially considering the fact that this is the second time we've seen an official in a major sport eject a star player for something completely harmless and inoffensive.

Clearly some of these referees need to calm down a bit.
