Season 11 of Bones continues its final season on Fox. In tonight's Episode 6, as the Jeffersonian take on a new case, are Temperance Brennan (Emily Deschanel) and Seeley Booth (David Boreanaz) ready to face "The Senator in the Street Sweeper?"

Two truck drivers nearly run over a raccoon but instead plow through a dead body. Booth is measuring the bedroom for a TV set. Brennan thinks it's a bad move because it means less sex for them.

While the two are getting intimate, Camille (Tamara Taylor)  is investigating the course. Hodgins (T.J. Thyne)  and Angela (Michaela Conlin) tease the squintern, who might be dating Aubrey. After discovering a  major clue, their lead takes them to a missing senator from Virginia.

Caroline Julian (Patricia Belcher) warns Brennan that she shouldn't be on the case; Brennan has a tendency to say things she shouldn't. In the car, Aubrey reveals to Booth his political career and intends becoming a senator.  Brennan thinks the killer used an axe for the dismemberment.

As Booth and Aubrey investigate O'Malley's murder, they interrogate the wife, who revealed there was an affair. With the press all over her, Julian isn't too happy that Brennan has to come along with Booth.  Shen then orders Aubrey to investigate Jessica and make sure she doesn't screw up the case.

While Jessica and Angela are working on their next lead, Booth wants Brennan to be herself. Brennan ends up interrogating Senator Hayley Winters (Brenda Strong), who doesn't like being taken as a suspect. After doing a background check, Aubrey has evidence of Jessica near a crime scene and using drug. Unfortunately, everything she says makes him nervous.

After Brennan accuses Hayley of having affair, she reveals O'Malley wasn't like because of his death penalty act. After clearing Jessica with Caroline, Aubrey has footage of a mysterious man arguing with the dead senator.   Caroline and Aubrey investigate their suspect, who has an alibi.

With the skull assembled, Angela realizes Jessica is upset from her conversation with Aubrey. Getting back to the case, Brennan thinks there may have been two killers involved. At a restaurant, Brennan figures out the waitress is O'Malley's daughter.

O'Malley's daughter hasn't heard that her father was murdered. She was the last person to see him. With new evidence discovered by the Jeffersonian, Booth and Aubrey discover the widow will be appointed to the senator's seat. Risking his political career, Aubrey wants to interrogate the wife and Winters.

With a new lead from Brennan, Booth finds the murder weapon and spots a cut on the senator's aide. After Aubrey arrests the aide,  he ends up on a date with Jessica. The two smile as they're certain of each other.

Booth and Brennan now have a TV set in the bedroom and fight for the remote control.
