Los Angeles Lakers shooting guard and future hall of famer, Kobe Bryant, has hired a film crew to follow him around and record key moments, plus private reflections throughout what might be his last NBA season.

The decision only fuels the speculation as to whether or not this is the 37-year-olds final year in the league. Some are adamant that he's good for another year, while some are equally assured he's not. Kobe, meanwhile, has done little to set the score straight.

"My message has been consistent all the time. If I change my mind, I'll come back and play. If I don't, I won't," Bryant said after Sunday's loss to the Knicks, via Yahoo! Sports. "I've been pretty consistent with that, so I don't know how much, what else can I say?"

OK, Kobe's a maybe. What about the prospect of playing elsewhere?

"I've said it so many times. I'm here, I'm a Laker for life," said Bryant, following his team's 104-98 win over the Brooklyn Nets at Barclays Center, via Yahoo! Sports. "I'm not playing anywhere else, no matter what. It's just not going to happen. I bleed purple and gold, and that's just how it's going to be."

OK, we now know two things: 1) Kobe is staying in LA LA land--no matter what. And 2) his favorite Gatorade flavors are most likely frost and lemon.

While his future is uncertain, it is clear Bryant is struggling in the present. Bryant has had a less than spectacular start to the season, shooting 32% on 16.2 attempts per game, and just 20.8% from deep. Not bad for a game of horse, pretty miserable for a player in the NBA. In fact, no one has shot this poorly since the 1951-52 season when Joe Fulks shot 31.2% on 17.7 shots per game.

Here's Kobe's season so far summarized in NBA Jam:

Bryant will go down as one of the greatest to ever play the game. That much is clear. His future in the NBA, however, is less clear.

Will this be his last year in the league? Who knows. But either way, it'll all be caught on tape.
